My name is Kristie (Korsbeck) Rutledge. I hail from Big Sandy via Malta, MT where I was born and raised. I have been with Bear Paw Cooperative since 2010 where I serve as a School Psychologist, Mandt trainer, and Ukeru trainer. I taught special education at all levels K-12 and regular education, including Kindergarten, health, PE, and geography, in Montana and Wyoming for 13 years prior to coming to BPC. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Montana College (now MSU-Northern); my special education endorsement was earned from the University of Great Falls (now University of Providence); my Master of Education in Special Education was completed at MSU-Billings and my School Psychology specialist license through the University of Montana in conjunction with other universities. With the Mandt Instructor and Ukeru Instructor certification, BPC can offer staff training in our cooperative schools. 

In addition to working in education, my husband and I raise cattle, sheep, and small grains on our century+ farm/ranch. We were blessed to raise our 3 grown children: Brantly, Andrea, and Lance as the 5th generation within the agriculture community and they have each flourished in their own right. We also have three adorable grandchildren. I garner much enjoyment from working with youth in many capacities and previously served as a 4-H leader, FFA Alumni board member, and Junior Red Angus leader. Lay Ministry and youth group have a time and a place in my heart as well. As you can see, I spend most of my time "chasing kids and critters," and love working with children, in all capacities. Additionally, helping parents and staff find ways to best help their children be their best selves so they can access education, live, learn, and grow is a key piece of my practice!
